What is the average group size?

Group size varies by type of program, but typically Is between 10 and 20.

Do you book airfare?

No, you will book your own airfare. We will provide recommendations for suggested arrival and departure times and airport transfers (if included).

Do I need travel insurance?

Travel insurance is strongly recommended for all trips. It is required for some; see individual trip confirmations.

Do I need to sign a release waiver?

Yes, we require every participant to read and sign a release waiver to participate in Kim’s LifeTours programs.  This form must be completed by each participant or by a parent or guardian for each minor prior to departing for the trip.

What should I pack?

Packing suggestions will be provided depending on the type of tour (cycling, hiking, yoga, art, etc.). On our cycling trips, most participants choose to rent bikes. We provide recommendations on where to rent, types of bikes available, and any accessories you need to bring.

How much is the deposit?

Deposits are typically $400 but may vary by trip, depending on destination, partners, and providers. This deposit is non-refundable unless the trip is completely cancelled by us.

What payment methods are accepted?

For most of our trips, payments will be by Zelle or check. Initial deposits for some trips may be made online with a credit card. After making your deposit, you will receive a confirmation letter including dates of required payments. Some trips have different payment requirements, depending on deadlines and program partners.
